warrant Information
The court will issue a warrant when:
- you violated your promise to appear on your citation;
- you failed to comply with the orders of a judge;
- you did not complete a payment plan or failed to make payments as promised;
- you failed to appear on a summons, bond or order to appear.
If warrants have been issued for your arrest, you may contact the court for the amount owed the court. The court will only give this amount. You will need to come to the court or request in writing any other information regarding the warrants.
If your citations have been placed on time-payment and have been placed in warrants for lack of payment, you must pay 50% of the total amount in order to return your citation(s) to the time-payment status.
If your warrants remaining outstanding more than 30 days from the date of the mailed courtesy letter, the warrant will be sent to D.P.S. via the OmniBase tracking system. Each charge sent in this manner will have an additional $30.00 fee applied.
If your warrants remaining outstanding more than 90 days from the date issued, the cases may be referred to the court's collection agency. If this occurs, a collection fee of 30% of what is owed on each offense will be added to the charge(s).
