Director: Tony Torres

Tony was born and raised in Bellmead where he graduated from La Vega High School in 1970. In 1972 he graduated from Hill Jr College, where he attended on a baseball scholarship, with an Associates Art Degree. Tony worked in the surrounding areas till he came to the City of Bellmead in 1993 as the Parks and Civic Center Director. Recently Tony's job description has changed to Civic/Tourism center Director.

Tony is involved in the Bellmead Community and is currently the President of the La Vega Athletic Booster Club. Tony was a 10 year member of the Southwest Baseball Umpires Association and served 8 years as President of the Central Texas United States Slo-Pitch Softball Umpires Association.

Tony is married to Norma and they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
