Salary: TCLEOSE Certified: $12.85 - $13.90 hourly (DOE)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Police Officer serves the needs of the community by supporting the protection of life and property, prevention of crimes, apprehension of criminals, and enforcement of laws by patrolling an assigned beat on foot, bicycle or in a radio equipped patrol car, responding to calls for assistance, conducting criminal investigations, and performing special assignments at the discretion of the supervisor.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, DEGREES, CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSE:
Recruit:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must meet all Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) and local ordinance requirements.
Certified:
Basic TCLEOSE certification required.
