Councilman Carl E. Swanson, III

Council member Carl E Swanson III was elected to serve the citizens of Bellmead as the representitive for Precinct 1, in May 1999. While serving on the Council he has held the position of Mayor for two seperate terms.
Mr. Swanson III, is a graduate of Park College with an Associate degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Management (Cum Laude). He graduated from Waco Christian High School, and also attended the La Vega Public School system.
He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Golfing, fishing, movie going and car magazine reading, are his favorite pastimes.
