David was born March 10, 1951 to Raymond and Tracie Schroeder of West. He lived there for 34 years until he moved to Bellmead.
He is currently employeed at L-3, as a aircraft sheetmetal mech.
David is married to Cheryl(Marsker) Schroeder. They have six children all together, and six grandchildren with two on the way in 2010.
David is currently serving his second term on the council.
David is serving as the president of the EDC.
